What Can I Do with a Dead Laptop?

Even dead laptops can still be useful. Although your old laptop might have reached the end of it’s life, it’s components might not have. In fact, in most cases your laptop’s hard drive should be intact and fully functional. So in the spirit of saving money and the environment we’d like to share ways you can reuse your laptop’s hard drive.

First, you’ll need to take your laptop apart. A simple google search should turn up the exact steps you can follow for your specific device. Just remember your target is the hard drive.
Now that you have your hard drive you’ll want to carefully check the interface type. SATA and IDE drives are the most common drives today, with SATA expected to dominate the market in the near future.
