USB 3.2 Gen 2 Protocol
The type C connector adopts the USB 3.2 Gen 2 protocol so that the transfer speed of your M.2 NVMe drive can reach up to 1000 Mbps. For example, it just takes seconds to transfer a Blu-ray movie with a few gigabytes.
Inateck FE2023 enclosure supports M.2 NVMe SSDs with M Key interfaces and B & M key interfaces in the following drive sizes: 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280.Note: This enclosure only works with M.2 NVMe SSDs (NOT applicable to M.2 SATA SSDs).

1. Why does the speed fail to reach 10Gbps?
Please check if the connected USB port supports USB 3.2. 2. Please use the cable that comes with the enclosure.
2. About the Cable
According to our survey, one of the USB cables will be idle for most users. For environmental reason and 10Gbps speed, this enclosure will come with a USB C to USB C cable. If there's only a USB A port, here're some cost-effective USB cables. Please refer to the Inateck CA1006 in the table below.
3. About the Fan
The speed of the cooling fan can reach 6500 RPM, which can reduce the temperature of the drive from 95℃ to 65℃. To run the enclosure properly, please don't demount the fan or use any external temperature controller.
4. Tool-free Installation
1). Press both sides to pull out the drive tray.
2). Place the drive face up 3. Push the round fixator outwards and snap the drive. 4. Put the tray into the enclosure. If you'd like to remove the drive from the tray, please toggle the round fixator outward and the drive will pop out.
